The e-Access is powered by a 4.1 kW electric motor that produces 15 Nm of torque. It comes with three riding modes: Eco, Ride A and Ride B, which allow riders to choose between efficiency and performance. Additionally, the scooter gets regenerative braking and reverse assist mode, which will help in tight parking spaces.
Suzuki also claims that throttle response remains consistent even when the battery charge is low. Perhaps this will help address one of the common concerns among EV users. A belt drive system is used for the final drive, designed for minimal maintenance and long-term durability.
In terms of styling, the E-Access has a modern design with LED lighting and two-tone alloy wheels. The company has also introduced a new dual-tone color option, which includes metallic matte fibroin gray along with metallic matte stellar blue.
Inside, the scooter features a fully digital display with Bluetooth connectivity, app support, and a USB charging port. Additionally, the battery is housed in an aluminum case integrated into the chassis, which helps improve stability and handling.
At Rs 1.88 lakh, the Suzuki E-Access is the highest priced in the segment. It competes with models like Ather Rizta, TVS iQubeAnd Bajaj ChetakMany of which are priced low. However, Suzuki is offering an extended warranty of 7 years or 80,000 km and a buy-back assurance of 60 percent for three years, which may attract early buyers.
