BMW has introduced f 450 gs In three variants to suit different riding preferences across all markets. Prices for the base variant start at Rs 4.70 lakh while the top GS Trophy is priced at Rs 5.30 lakh, ex-showroom. Special trims have been arranged between both the variants to effectively balance the features and pricing structure for India buyers.

Engine and performance
The motorcycle comes with a 420cc liquid cooled parallel twin engine that produces 48 bhp power output and strong mid range response. It produces 43Nm of torque and comes mated to a six-speed gearbox for smooth highway cruising performance. Therefore, BMW has designed it for both city riding and long-distance traveling capability on various roads.
Features and rider assistance
The motorcycle comes with full LED lighting, riding modes and a 6.5-inch TFT screen. Additionally, Cornering ABS, Traction Control and Dynamic Brake Control provide safety during cornering, acceleration and deceleration. Additionally, the middle and top trims feature bi-directional quickshifters and adjustable suspension for a smoother ride on different surfaces. The 6.5-inch TFT display unit offers navigation and Bluetooth connectivity for access to ride information and phone calls.
