Ola Electric records strong growth in May 2026

Ola Electric Domestic sales of 15,139 units were recorded during May 2026. The company had registered 12,323 units during April 2026. Therefore, monthly sales increased by 23% within a month. This increase in sales highlights the growing demand for Ola S1 Pro Gen 3, ola s1x, And ola s1x gen 3 All over Indian market.

The company said it was its third consecutive month of sales growth. Furthermore, improvement in operating activities helped support this growth trend. Changes in the retail network also contributed to strong registrations during the month.

Growth rate remains ahead of industry average

According to vehicle data, the electric two-wheeler segment also registered growth during May. Industry volumes increased from around 1.48 lakh units in April to around 1.70 lakh units in May.

This represented an increase of approximately 15% over the broader market. However, the growth rate of Ola Electric Was higher than the industry average. Hence, the company gained momentum faster than the overall electric two-wheeler segment.

Roadster portfolio and fuel prices support demand

The company has linked the sales growth to growing interest in electric mobility. Higher gasoline prices also encouraged more buyers to consider electric vehicles.

Additionally, Ola Electric said that its Roadster portfolio is seeing increasing customer attention.

Ola Electric spokesperson said, “Ola Electric has registered growth for the third consecutive month, with registrations in May growing 23 per cent month-on-month and well ahead of industry growth. The strong demand environment coupled with growing interest in our Roadster portfolio has helped us maintain this growth momentum.”

Focus remains on expanding EV adoption

Ola Electric said that the Indian electric two-wheeler market is constantly changing. Consumers are increasingly choosing electric vehicles due to lower operating costs. Additionally, concerns related to fuel dependence are influencing purchasing decisions.

The company said it is focused on increasing EV adoption. Therefore, it will continue to strengthen its integrated manufacturing operations covering vehicles, batteries and cells.
