The XSR155 uses the same 155cc, single-cylinder liquid-cooled 4-valve engine that powers the R15 and MT-15. Equipped with Variable Valve Actuation technology, this motor offers a perfect balance between low-end grunt and top-end performance. It produces maximum power of 18.4PS and peak torque of 14.2Nm. The XSR155 comes with a 6-speed gearbox with assist-and-slipper clutch.
The suspension duties are taken care of by a USD front fork and a monoshock unit at the rear. Stopping power of the bike comes from front and rear disc brakes, assisted by dual-channel ABS (Anti-lock Braking System). The bike also features traction control for added safety.
The XSR155 rides on 17-inch alloy wheels wrapped in MRF Revz-s street tyres. Its fuel tank capacity is 10.4-litre and ground clearance is 120mm. The weight of the bike is 137 kg.
Yamaha XRS 155 is available in four color options – Metallic Blue, Greyish Green Metallic, Metallic Silver and Vivid Red. This retro-modern roadster features a round LED headlamp, a teardrop-shaped fuel tank with ‘Yamaha’ logo, single-piece seat and a round LED taillamp. On the feature front, the new Yamaha bike offers an LCD instrument cluster displaying essential riding information.
Yamaha offers two accessory kits for the XRS155 – Café Racer and Scrambler. The Café Racer package includes a headlight cowl, lever protectors, and a different seat, while the Scrambler kit adds bar-end mirrors, a more padded seat, rubber tank pads, and different side panels.
