The all-new Yamaha XSR155 motorcycle has recently gone on sale in India at a starting price of Rs 1,49,990. It is essentially the neo-retro sibling of the R15 and MT-15 V2.0, with the same engine and Deltabox frame (perimeter chassis).

The XSR155 uses the same 155cc, single-cylinder liquid-cooled 4-valve engine that powers the R15 and MT-15. Equipped with Variable Valve Actuation technology, this motor offers a perfect balance between low-end grunt and top-end performance. It produces maximum power of 18.4PS and peak torque of 14.2Nm. The XSR155 comes with a 6-speed gearbox with assist-and-slipper clutch.

The suspension duties are taken care of by a USD front fork and a monoshock unit at the rear. Stopping power of the bike comes from front and rear disc brakes, assisted by dual-channel ABS (Anti-lock Braking System). The bike also features traction control for added safety.
The XSR155 rides on 17-inch alloy wheels wrapped in MRF Revz-s street tyres. Its fuel tank capacity is 10.4-litre and ground clearance is 120mm. The weight of the bike is 137 kg.

Yamaha XRS 155 is available in four color options – Metallic Blue, Greyish Green Metallic, Metallic Silver and Vivid Red. This retro-modern roadster features a round LED headlamp, a teardrop-shaped fuel tank with ‘Yamaha’ logo, single-piece seat and a round LED taillamp. On the feature front, the new Yamaha bike offers an LCD instrument cluster displaying essential riding information.
Yamaha XSR155 Accessories
Yamaha offers two accessory kits for the XRS155 – Café Racer and Scrambler. The Café Racer package includes a headlight cowl, lever protectors, and a different seat, while the Scrambler kit adds bar-end mirrors, a more padded seat, rubber tank pads, and different side panels.
