Yamaha RayZR 125 range priced at Rs.

Yamaha has increased the prices of its RayZR 125 scooter lineup in India. This increase applies to both the RayZR 125 Fi Hybrid and Street Rally versions. Each variant now costs Rs 660 more than before.

RayZR 125 Fi Hybrid Drum Variant Now the price is Rs 74,960. Earlier its price was Rs 74,300. Similarly, disc standard edition Now it comes to Rs 81,560. Its previous price was Rs 80,900.

Additionally, the Disc DLX variant is now priced at Rs 82,460. Earlier buyers could buy it for Rs 81,800. Street Rally Fi Hybrid The price of the model has now increased from Rs 86,900 to Rs 87,560.

Reason behind price increase

YAMAHA Prices have been increased due to higher input and logistics costs. Perhaps the new financial year also played a role in this amendment. Many manufacturers adjust prices during this period.

However, the increase remains small and similar across all variants. This ensures that buyers do not see a big jump in costs.

Engine and performance remain the same

Despite the price increase, Yamaha has not made any mechanical updates. Both scooters continue with the same 125cc, air-cooled, single-cylinder engine.

This engine produces 8bhp and 10.3Nm torque. It focuses on smooth urban ride and good fuel efficiency. Moreover, the hybrid system helps in improving the mileage and providing better pickup.

Street Rally vs Standard: What sets them apart

The RayZR 125 Street Rally is distinguished by its rugged styling. It has handguard, flyscreen and special DRL design. All these give it a bold and sporty look.

Additionally, it comes with block-pattern tyres. These tires increase grip on rough or uneven roads.

In contrast, the RayZR 125 Fi Hybrid looks clean. It is also suitable for urban riders who are into simple yet stylish scooters. However, the similarity between both the models is that their key features and performance are the same.

The price adjustment by Yamaha is indicative of a larger trend in the auto industry. Price increases are still being felt in the segment. Prices have already been raised among many brands in recent months. Still, a small increase may not have a great impact on purchasing behavior. The RayZR 125 range may still be attractive for the daily commute.
