TVS Patent EFX 3O Electric St
The TVS eFX 3O concept has a sharp and muscular design that fits the modern streetfighter theme. At the front of the motorcycle there is an attractive LED headlamp unit that looks compact yet distinctive. The patent images also show a small camera integrated into the headlight housing, hinting at advanced safety systems. Additionally, the golden colored upside-down front forks add to the bike’s strong road presence.
The body panels are angular and wrap neatly around a large battery pack placed in the center, where a fuel tank or engine would usually be. This partially open battery layout may help with cooling. Additionally, the bike uses a mid-mounted motor and a belt drive system to send power to the rear wheel. It also gets a thin TFT screen that sits above the handlebar area, while the split seats complete the sporty look. Overall, the design seen in the patent closely matches the EICMA concept.
Advanced features and hardware setup
TVS has clearly equipped the eFX 3O with modern features. The concept is expected to include dash cameras on both the front and rear. Perhaps, these cameras will work with advanced driver assistance systems. The rear also gets an LED taillight unit that integrates a camera, continuing the tech-centric theme.
The electric streetfighter rides on 17-inch wheels at both ends. The front wheel design looks similar to Apache RTR 310Creating a familiar brand link. Apart from this, disc brakes have been used on both the wheels along with rear monoshock suspension in the bike. The concept shown earlier was fitted with Michelin street tyres, highlighting its performance-oriented nature.
production still uncertain
TVS has said that the eFX 3O will have a next-generation electric powertrain. However, details regarding battery size, motor output or riding range are still unknown. Although patent filing is an encouraging sign, it does not guarantee production. Perhaps, if TVS decides to make a road-ready version, it may still take three to four years.
