Suzuki delivers e-Access 370U
One such factor affecting sales is the price of the e-Access, which stands at Rs 1.88 lakh, ex-showroom Delhi. This makes it more expensive than the best-selling TVS iQube and Bajaj Chetak. However, Suzuki plans to reduce the cost of ownership with an extended warranty of 7 years or 80,000 km. Additionally, the company also offers 60 percent buyback assurance, which is valid for three years. This can make it more attractive to potential buyers.
Specifications and Features
e-Access is built on Suzuki’s in-house e-technology platform. It uses a 3kWh Lithium Iron Phosphate (LFP) battery, which promises to last longer than traditional NMC batteries. The company claims an IDC range of 95 km per charge. Additionally, the battery and drivetrain have been subjected to extensive testing including water immersion, vibration, drop and thermal stress testing. The scooter has disc front brake, drum rear brake, LED lights, daytime running lights and 160 mm of ground clearance.
