A second model, the Flying Flea S6, will arrive later in 2026. “S6 will arrive during the year, around EICMA time,” Govindarajan confirmed. This points to a possible India launch around November 2026, around the time of the global motorcycle show EICMA.
Perhaps the S6 would benefit from a wider launch network based on the C6 rollout. Expected price could be around Rs 2.30 lakh (ex-showroom). At this price point, there may not be direct rivals, although Ultraviolette Automotive’s premium electric bikes rank high in this segment.
Production capacity gets a strong boost
To support this electric push, parent company Eicher Motors has approved an investment of Rs 958 crore. The move will increase the capacity of the Cheyyar plant from 14.6 lakh units to 20 lakh units annually. Apart from petrol-powered 350cc, 450cc and 650cc bikes, the Flying Flea range will also be launched from this facility.
