There has been no change in the design and features of the scooter. It will continue to get a large TFT display with ride information and smartphone connectivity features. Other features include navigation support, smartphone alerts, USB charging and a massive 32-litre storage compartment under the seat.
The TVS iQube S comes with telescopic front forks and 12-inch wheels with twin rear shock absorbers. Braking duties are handled by a front disc and rear drum brake setup.
The highlight of the new iQube S is its upgraded battery pack, which now offers a claimed IDC range of 175 km on a single charge. This is a significant improvement over the previous 3.5kWh variant which offered a claimed range of 145 km.
Apart from the battery upgrade, the scooter is now available in two new dual tone color options Purple Beige and Blue Beige, which adds a fresh look to the electric scooter.
The overall weight of the scooter has also increased due to the larger battery pack. The new iQube S weighs 128.8 kg, making it about 10 kg heavier than the previous 3.5kWh version.
However, the scooter continues to use the same 4.4kW electric motor. It offers a top speed of 82 kmph and can accelerate from 0 to 40 kmph in just 4.3 seconds, making it suitable for city commuting.
