Chetak C25 A 2.5 kWh battery is installed in the floorboard. This placement keeps weight down and improves balance. The hub-mounted motor produces 2.2 kW of maximum power and takes the scooter to a top speed of 55 kmph. Bajaj claims a range of up to 113 km, which should be suitable for most urban users.
The included 750W off-board charger can fill the battery from 0 to 80 percent in about 2 hours and 25 minutes. It takes less than four hours for a full charge. Additionally, the hill-hold assist allows the scooter to climb slopes up to 19 percent with two riders.
Bajaj has also updated the suspension for better ride comfort. The C25 uses telescopic front forks and twin rear shock absorbers. This setup helps riders handle broken roads and tight turns with more confidence. It also has a front disc brake that provides additional safety during sudden stops.
Talking about features, the scooter has a color LCD display with smartphone connectivity. Riders get call and message alerts, turn-by-turn navigation, and music controls. Reverse mode and guide-me-home lights also improve daily usability.
