ktm New color options introduced for rc 160 In India, the entry-level sportbike has been given a visual refresh without any mechanical changes. The price of the motorcycle remains around Rs 1.85 lakh (ex-showroom), which means buyers will now get more style options at the same price. This update focuses primarily on the appearance, yet it also helps keep the model fresh in the competitive entry-sportbike segment.
The RC 160 is now available in Electronic Orange Matte and Ceramic White Matte. The orange scheme already appears on larger RC models, so it has KTM’s familiar racing identity. However, the Ceramic White shade offers a fresh look by combining a white base with black and orange graphics.
As a result, the bike looks clean as well as aggressive. Additionally, the colored alloy wheels and sharp decals help highlight the fairing design, which remains one of the key highlights of the RC lineup.
The front fascia blends with the muscular side fairings, and the tail section rises sharply to create a track-inspired profile. This design approach gives the motorcycle a strong road presence.
The motorcycle continues to use a trellis frame that supports stable handling. It includes upside-down front forks and rear monoshock, which help maintain balance during cornering and braking. Additionally, KTM equips the bike with a 320mm front disc and rear disc, backed by dual-channel ABS for safe braking control.
The RC 160 is powered by a 164.2cc liquid-cooled engine that produces around 18.73 bhp and 15.5 Nm of torque. This motor is paired with a six-speed gearbox, allowing smooth acceleration and stable highway cruising. KTM claims a top speed of 118 kmph, which is in line with the sport-commuter status of the bike.
The feature list includes full LED lighting, an LCD instrument display and an assist-and-slipper clutch that reduces wheel hop during quick downshifts. Additionally, it has navigation support, which helps riders during long journeys.
