KTM has unveiled the 1390 Super Duke RR as a track-focused naked motorcycle with low weight and sharp performance tuning. The new model brings carbon fiber components and advanced hardware for better control in high-speed riding conditions.
It continues the larger 1390 platform direction, replacing the older RR version from the previous generation lineup. In addition, KTM has focused on reducing overall mass and improving circuit performance for demanding riders. Hence, the motorcycle targets enthusiasts who like aggressive riding in both road and closed circuit environments today.
KTM will produce only 350 units globally, which immediately places the Super Duke RR in a very exclusive category. As a result, demand is expected to remain strong among collectors and performance motorcycle enthusiasts around the world.
However, availability will be extremely limited due to its focused production strategy and track oriented positioning. Furthermore, this specification cements its position above the standard Super Duke variant in KTM’s global lineup.
The suspension system has been significantly revised with WP Pro components replacing the previous WP APEX setup. Up front, a closed cartridge fork offers full adjustability for compression and rebound damping for precise control. Meanwhile, the rear WP 8750 monoshock has been specially developed with improved internal flow and larger piston design.
Additionally, Brembo HyPure callipers provide strong braking performance with reduced lever effort and improved rider feedback. Hence, the overall setup supports confident handling during aggressive cornering and tough braking situations.
The motorcycle continues to be powered by a 1350cc LC8 V twin engine with 190PS power and 138Nm torque output. Although there are no changes to the engine, it continues to deliver strong and consistent performance in all riding conditions.
However, KTM has added a titanium Akrapovic slip on the exhaust which reduces weight and sharpens the exhaust note. Furthermore, this setup improves throttle response experience while meeting global emission standards for road use compliance.
equipped with RR ktm The Tech Pack includes traction control, launch control, wheelie control and quickshifter functionality. Additionally, Track Mode minimizes electronic interference, giving riders more direct control over circuit-focused riding conditions. Beast mode further reduces assist while maintaining road legal capability for street use.
Meanwhile, MotoGP RC16-inspired forged alloy wheels reduce unsprung mass and improve directional response at speed. Michelin Power GP tires provide strong grip in both road and track conditions. However, the launch in India remains uncertain as KTM currently sells the 1390 Super Duke R in the market. If offered, the price could range between Rs 28 to Rs 30 lakh, although no official confirmation has been made yet.
