Indian Motorcycle Marks 125 Yeh
indian motorcycle has introduced a special set of anniversary motorcycles to celebrate 125 years of American motorcycle heritage. The company has created a limited global lineup of three collector-focused models, each featuring hand-painted finishes, exclusive badging and premium equipment. Although these motorcycles have a strong collector appeal, the brand has ensured that they remain practical enough for regular riding.
Signature anniversary paint and distinctive identity
All three motorcycles share a special anniversary theme, built around a black crystal paint finish with 125th anniversary red paint. Each unit is hand-painted and decorated with detailed pinstriping that subtly references the milestone celebration. In addition, each motorcycle has its own serial number, strengthening its collectible value. These details highlight the brand’s focus on craftsmanship rather than mass production.
Modern technology increases everyday usefulness
Despite its classic presentation, the anniversary model includes modern features to support daily use. Each bike is equipped with the Ride Command+ system, which includes a 4-inch or 7-inch full-color touchscreen display. Through this system, riders can access navigation, maintenance reminders, ride statistics and bike information.
Additionally, the display supports connected services like vehicle location tracking and customizable gauges. Riders can also connect their phones via Bluetooth or USB to manage music and calls when paired with a compatible helmet communicator.
Focus on heritage, exhibits and tours across the border
Each model in the collection highlights a different riding style. A motorcycle leaning strongly into classic design cues, combining wire wheels, old-style handlebars and valanced fenders with modern electronics. This version uses the brand’s air-cooled Thunderstroke engine, which is known for strong low-end torque and comfortable cruising capability.
The second model in the lineup sports an aggressive and nude look. It uses a liquid-cooled engine that is tuned for high performance as well as bobbed fenders and machined wheels. The strategy makes it more sporty in character and still preserves the anniversary theme with special badging and detailing.
The third motorcycle in the collection focuses on touring comfort and long-distance capability. It features a frame-mounted fairing, premium audio system, custom seating and better rider controls. As the most feature-rich model of the trio, it represents the brand’s flagship touring experience.
