Increase in Honda two-wheeler sales

honda motorcycle & Scooter India recorded steady sales growth in domestic and export markets during April 2026. The company recorded high demand across all segments, reflecting steady market activity and buyer interest across the country. Domestic sales showed a clear increase compared to the previous year, while exports grew at a faster pace during the same period. The overall performance was supported by the broad product lineup and strong sales network spread across India.

Domestic sales are showing continuous growth year after year

Honda reported domestic sales of 4.84 lakh units in April 2026, showing a growth of 14.7 percent. The company had sold 4.22 lakh units in the domestic market during April 2025. Therefore, this growth reflects the stable demand in the commuter and premium two-wheeler segments in India.

Total sales in April crossed 5.63 lakh units

Honda’s total sales including exports reached 5.63 lakh units in April 2026. This number was higher than 4.80 lakh units recorded in April last year. Hence, the company recorded an overall growth of 17 percent during the month.

Export sales show strong growth momentum

Export numbers increased significantly during April 2026, indicating better performance than domestic sales. Honda exported 79,600 units this month, while last year the figure was 57,900 units. Moreover, this resulted in a strong growth of 37.4 percent year on year.
