Harley-Davidson expands network
Both outlets will manage local chapters of the Harley Owners Group (HOG), the brand’s official rider community. Now, the total number of HOG chapters in India has increased to 33. The club plays an important role in bringing riders together through events, long-distance rides and brand-based experiences.
To celebrate the launch, the companies organized community rides for Harley owners in both cities. Bengaluru has already hosted its inaugural ride on March 1, 2026, while Kochi will hold a similar event on March 31, 2026.
X440 Lineup Expands Harley’s Reach Among Indian Riders
The bike was a locally designed and manufactured bike by Hero MotoCorp in collaboration with Harley-Davidson. It has a 440cc single-cylinder engine with high levels of low-end torque and smooth cruising capability. This makes the bike suitable for city and highway travel.
Furthermore, the motorcycle is equipped with modern features such as digital instrument cluster, smartphone integration, LED lighting and dual channel ABS. Another variant has been introduced by the company which is called Harley-Davidson X440T. This version is more touring-specific and more rider-friendly with better ergonomics and features.

Partnership continues to reshape Harley’s India strategy
The collaboration between Harley-Davidson and Hero MotoCorp began in 2020 when Harley decided to cease its independent operations in India. Under the agreement, Hero MotoCorp manages the distribution of imported Harley motorcycles as well as develops new models for the Indian market.
