The BMW M 1000 R features a new dual flow LED headlight, giving it a more aggressive front look. Additionally, the bike comes with the signature M winglets, which BMW claims increases the front wheel load by 11 kg at a top speed of 220 kmph. The motorcycle is available in three colours: Light White/M Motorsport for the base variant, White Aluminum Metallic Matte for both the base and M Competition packages, and Blackstorm Metallic/M Motorsport exclusively for the M Competition package.
The new M 1000 R includes an updated Dynamic Traction Control system derived from BMW’s RR models. This system improves maneuvering accuracy especially in Race mode. Additionally, the bike features an M quick action throttle that allows faster acceleration with less wrist effort. These upgrades enhance performance and control for riders who prefer aggressive riding on both the road and track.
BMW has expanded the M Competition package with several premium features. The package now includes M carbon wheels, carbon fiber panels, adjustable milled rearset footrests and an M GPS laptimer. Therefore, riders can enjoy a more personalized and track-centric riding experience. This package highlights BMW’s focus on combining style, technology and performance in a single streetfighter.
