Ampere Magnus G Max has been launched at a starting price of Rs. Rs 94,999 ex-showroom. It uses a 3 kWh Lithium Ferro Phosphate battery with a focus on safety and long life. The company claims a real world range of over 100 kilometers in Eco riding mode. However, the certified range figure is reported to be more than 142 kilometres. It takes about 4.5 hours to charge from 20 to 80 percent at home. Additionally, Ampere offers a battery warranty of five years or 75,000 kilometers.
The scooter has a hub mounted electric motor that delivers 1.5 kW of nominal output. The maximum power reaches 2.4 kW, which supports smooth riding conditions in the city. The top speed of Ampere Magnus G Max is 65 kilometers per hour. Additionally, riders get Eco, City and Reverse riding modes. The dual frame chassis and 165 mm ground clearance help manage uneven roads.
The Ampere Magnus G Max offers a large 33 liter under seat storage compartment. Hence, it is one of the more smooth-riding scooters in its segment. Front hydraulic telescopic suspension and rear coil spring that absorbs shocks for ride comfort. It has a 3.5 inch LCD display with USB charging support. LED lighting is standard, while connected features via TCU are optional.
The electric scooter is offered in three dual tone color options. These include Monsoon Blue, Matcha Green and Cinnamon Copper. Ampere aims to attract urban buyers with simple styling and useful features. Therefore, the Magnus G Max focuses on space, range and everyday comfort.
