Motorcycles continue to have the largest share in India’s two-wheeler industry. The segment recorded sales of 11,13,973 units in May 2026 and accounted for 58.56% of the total market.

While commuter motorcycles are producing the highest volumes, premium offerings are gradually expanding their presence. Therefore, the latest sales figures show that Indian buyers are increasingly looking for both practical and premium motorcycle options.
