TVS patent reveals Apache RR4
The Tangent RR concept sports a proper race-inspired look. It has a full fairing that flows smoothly from the front to the tail, giving it a sharp and aggressive stance. The twin headlamp setup looks sharp, while the small windscreen keeps the front compact. It also has low clip-on handlebars that suggest the rider will lean forward in a committed sport riding position.
Moving to the middle, the fuel tank appears strong and sculpted to support the rider during hard braking and cornering. At the rear, the raised tail section looks slim and sporty, giving the bike a track-ready feel. Overall, the design hints that the future Apache RR 450 may focus strongly on performance and aerodynamics rather than just comfort.
Twin-cylinder engine could boost performance
The bike is expected to use a new 420cc twin-cylinder engine developed and debuted with BMW BMW F 450 GS. However, the tuning is likely to be different for the RR model. Since it is a sportbike, TVS can adjust the engine to deliver quicker acceleration and stronger top-end performance.
Furthermore, the patent images reveal several interesting hardware details. The bike appears to ride on 17-inch wheels, which are typical for sport motorcycles. It features an inverted front fork and a rear monoshock, both designed to improve stability at high speeds. Furthermore, the bike features dual front discs and a single rear disc, providing strong stopping power.
