2026 Honda Africa Twin CRF1100
Honda has revealed the 2026 Africa Twin CRF1100L for global markets with a visual update. The adventure motorcycle gets new paint options and refreshed graphics across all variants. However, the engine, hardware and core setup will remain unchanged. Hence, the update mainly focuses on the styling and presentation as per the variant. The Africa Twin range continues to target long distance touring and off-road riding. Furthermore, the unveiling has raised expectations about the possible return of the motorcycle to India.
Updated design and variant lineup
The 2026 Honda Africa Twin has been offered in three variants globally. The standard model and the electronic suspension version share the same three color options. These include Grand Prix Red, Matte Ballistic Black Metallic and Pearl Glare White. However, the white shade has golden wheels for a different look. Additionally, the Electronic Suspension version uses Showa’s electronically adjustable suspension for better ride control.
Adventure sports get unique style
The Adventure Sports edition stands out with a more touring focused appearance. It comes in matte iridium gray metallic and pearl glare white shades. Additionally, both the colors feature HRC tricolor graphics for a sporty finish. The variant continues to focus on comfort and long distance travel.
Engine and Transmission Specifications
Mechanically, the Africa Twin is unchanged for 2026. It has a 1,084cc parallel twin engine that produces 100.5 bhp and 112 Nm torque. Additionally, buyers can choose between a 6-speed manual gearbox and Honda’s DCT system.
